ITINERARY (10 May– 15 May)
Day 01 (10May) – Arrival at Bagdogra Airport
Our Representative will receive you at Bagdora Airport. Later transfer to Phuentsholing. After the immigration procedures, transfer to Thimphu. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 02 (11May) - Thimphu sightseeing
After breakfast proceed to visit gigantic statue of Buddha Dordenma, which commands a tremendous view of Thimphu valley. The huge 3-storey throne holds several chapels and the body itself is filled with 125,000 smaller statues of Buddha.
Then to Takin Reserve, it showcases the unique national animal of Bhutan, the Takin, and then to viewpoint, where you will be able to see the King’s Palace, then to Simply Bhutan.
In the evening, we will visit Craft Bazzar. The craft bazaar was initiated to promote the young talented rural based artists who master the arts and crafts of the age-old Bhutanese traditional arts which were passed down from generations.
It offers a platform for these young entrepreneurs from remote communities, from all over the country to showcase their art and craftworks. The most important and the foremost aim of this initiative is to improve the socio-economic status of these rural-based communities. The shoppers will enjoy the stroll through this bazaar and will find at least a thing or two to take with them as souvenirs to remind them of their enchanting voyage through Bhutan. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 03 (12May) - Thimphu to Punakha
After Breakfast proceed to Punakha. On the way, we will stop at Dochhula Pass. The DochhuLa is a mountain pass in the snow-covered Himalayas within Bhutan on the road from Thimphu to Punakha where 108 memorial chortens or stupas. we will visit the Majestic PunakhaDzong built at the confluence of the two major rives in Punakha District Phochhu (Male River) &Mochhu (Female River). It gives stunning sight on sunny days with sunlight reflecting off the water onto its whitewashed walls and followed by suspension bridge. Drive to Paro. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 04 (13May) -Tiger Nest Hike
After an early Breakfast, proceed for Hike to Tiger Nest Temple. This temple is one of the most iconic holy sites in the kingdom and clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900M above the Paro Valley. One must hike around 3 hours through beautiful, shady pine forest. No trip to Bhutan would be complete without a visit to this remarkable heritage site. After the hike experience Hot stone bath .Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 05 (14May) - Paro-Phuntsholing
After Breakfast proceed to visit National Museum and Rinpung Dzong and then Drive to Phuntsholing Overnight stay at Phuntsholing.
Day 06: (15may) - Phuntsholing- Bagdogra- Departure
After Breakfast transfer to Bagdogra Airport for your onward departure
